Fulham Beat Liverpool 3-2 in Premier League Thriller

Cottagers Come Alive Against the League Leaders

Fulham beat Liverpool 3-2 in one of the most dramatic Premier League clashes of the season, fighting back from an early deficit to deliver a thunderous blow to the Reds’ title hopes. It was only their second win in their last 16 meetings with Liverpool — and it couldn’t have come at a better time.

From the opening whistle, Fulham showed they weren’t there to make up the numbers. Andreas Pereira pressed high and forced Ibrahima Konaté into a panic, nearly setting up Rodrigo Muniz for the opener before Virgil van Dijk intervened.

Mac Allister’s Stunner Silences Craven Cottage — Briefly

Despite Fulham’s intensity, it was Liverpool who struck first. Ryan Gravenberch won the ball high, and Alexis Mac Allister unleashed a thunderbolt from long range. The Argentine’s strike flew beyond Bernd Leno and silenced Craven Cottage — momentarily.

But Fulham refused to shrink.

Sessegnon’s Return, Iwobi’s Impact, and Muniz’s Masterclass

In just his first league start at the Cottage since 2019, Ryan Sessegnon brought the noise. After Curtis Jones misjudged Pereira’s cross, Sessegnon pounced and fired home with composure.

Then came a moment of madness from Liverpool’s Andrew Robertson. A poor square pass allowed Alex Iwobi in, and after a chaotic scramble, Robertson’s deflection wrong-footed Caoimhin Kelleher for 2–1.

It got worse for the Reds. Muniz bullied van Dijk, controlled Iwobi’s high ball with class, and squeezed a shot through Kelleher’s legs. Fulham 3, Liverpool 1 — and the home fans were in dreamland.

Slot’s Substitutes Spark a Comeback Attempt

After the break, Arne Slot rang the changes. But Leno was alert, denying Jota, while Salah blazed over. Robertson missed the target. Pereira nearly added a fourth, and Liverpool looked stunned.

It wasn’t until Conor Bradley came on that the momentum shifted. He drove forward and set up Luis Díaz, who calmly slotted in to make it 3–2.

Liverpool pushed. Harvey Elliott hit the crossbar. Leno denied both Elliott and Federico Chiesa. But it wasn’t enough.

Title Charge in Trouble — Fulham Dreaming Big

This was a massive blow for Liverpool. Having now lost three of their last four in all competitions, their grip on the title race is loosening.

Meanwhile, Fulham bounced back from consecutive defeats to reignite dreams of a spot in Europe. The belief is back in West London.
