Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has made a stunning allegation that is shaking Nigeria’s political landscape. In a public statement, Natasha accuses Akpabio of plotting assassination with Yahaya Bello after a failed attempt to initiate her recall from the Senate.
According to the Kogi Central senator, Senate President Godswill Akpabio initially instructed Kogi State Governor Usman Ododo to begin a recall process against her. However, Ododo allegedly declined, citing strong grassroots support for the embattled senator.
When Ododo Refused, Natasha Claims Akpabio Turned to Yahaya Bello
In her narration, Natasha said that after Governor Ododo refused to carry out the recall directive, Akpabio turned to former Kogi Governor Yahaya Bello. The senator claimed that a private meeting was arranged at the Hilton Hotel in Abuja, facilitated by Senator Asuquo from Cross River State.
“They told him to start my recall. Akpabio would fund it. Money exchanged hands,” she said.
She also dropped a bombshell, alleging that the second objective of the meeting was her assassination.

Natasha accuses Akpabio of plotting assassination with Yahaya Bello by directing that the act be carried out in Kogi State, not in Abuja, to make it appear like a local uprising.
“Akpabio told Yahaya Bello not to do it in Abuja. It must be in Kogi so it would seem like the people killed me,” she alleged.
The senator said she did not initially disclose this information publicly but confirmed she has since written to the Inspector General of Police (IGP) and alerted national security agencies.
