Billionaire tech mogul Elon Musk has announced the formation of a new political outfit—the America Party—as part of a dramatic move to disrupt the entrenched Republican-Democratic duopoly in the United States.

“It’s tiring—the fanaticism and the criticism. People are more outraged by Elon’s absence than honoring real tragedies,” she said, defending his decision to skip the funeral of teammate Diogo Jota.
