Carlo Ancelotti ‘Devastated’ After Real Madrid Lose Copa del Rey Final to Barcelona

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti said he was “devastated” after his side let a Copa del Rey title slip away in a dramatic 3-2 extra-time defeat to Barcelona.

Real Madrid led late in regular time but conceded a counter-attack goal to Ferran Torres before Jules Koundé scored the decisive winner in extra-time.

“We fought very hard, we came close… I’m hurt, but I can’t reproach my players,” Ancelotti said, praising his team’s second-half performance.

Madrid now turn focus to LaLiga, where they trail Barcelona by four points with five games left.
