Dino Melaye Dumps PDP, Joins ADC Over Party’s ‘Failure to Provide Leadership’
Former Kogi West Senator Dino Melaye has officially resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC). In a letter dated July 4, 2025, Melaye cited the PDP’s inability to lead Nigeria out of its current political crisis as his reason for leaving, stating the party has “lost potency and direction.”
